R.I.P. Cedar Hills Crossing

I don’t remember Cedar Hills Crossing in Beaverton ever being a particularly lively or vibrant mall, but I’ve always considered it to be interesting at the very least. Anchored by a Best Buy, a fairly decent movie theater, and a Winco, the inside of the mall has always had some bizarre little stores with a little bit of everything for everyone.

Well, 2021 is here and time has not been kind to Cedar Hills Crossing.

Old Navy is toast, but I’m beginning to wonder if this isn’t a region-wide thing.

The “food court” doesn’t offer much in the way of variety anymore. 🙁

Powell’s Books continues to thrive but I suspect they’ll start keeping this mall door closed sooner or later, it’s not like there’s any reason to use it.

The public restrooms closed in September 2020 so if you need to pee you’re limited to any one of a number of fake potted plants placed throughout the mall.

Claire’s is the cockroach of mall stores. You can’t kill Claire’s. Ever.

So, if you’re into books, LEGO minifigs, or decorative hair scrunchies, Cedar Hills Crossing has got you covered. Anything else and you’re wasting your time.
